The case of the dead pirate takes place in the "Golden Age of Piracy" on Howell Island. Below you will see the "pretty map" of the island.

There are 4 zones defined labelled A-D and each area will have 9 locations where the crime may have happened.

Here is the game map of Howell Island. In addition to defining the 36 potential murder locations I have added ship routes which allow a player to move from one zone to another zone without passing through the adjacent zones.

Eventually I want to get actual names instead of numbers for the areas but right now it is easy enough to just say "going from A1 to A2." With the game map everyone will know what you are doing.

The game is being designed to handle up to 24 players. This post is rather large since it shows you the "Player Cards" of all 24 characters. Notice the characters are not named because each person will be allowed to name their own character (provided the name fits in the space allowed). The character name chosen by the player must start with the "player cards letter."

Many thanks to Lesigner Girl for helping in the search for pics that are appropriate to the "pirate theme genre."

Pirate weapons of various types will be used in the game as potential "murder weapons." I will be editing this list of cards as I create new ones...

After this post I decided to make a separate forum for the weapons cards (over here).

When it comes to pirate locations I discovered the names need to be really short since there isn't that much room on the cards.

Re: New topics created

I have decided that one topic for the "Howell Island: The Case of the Dead Pirate!" is getting very crowded by the size of the games "card postings." So to make things easier to find I created 3 new topics. The topics are for Player, Weapon, and Location cards that will be used in the game. The Location cards have a lower priority since we can play by giving the letter and number locations but right now I am furiously searching for things a pirate may have used as a murder weapon...
